ST. JOHN'S, Antigua — A noticeable contrast in voter activity has emerged between the St. John's City East and West constituencies as Antigua and Barbuda's 2026 general elections got underway.

According to Antigua.news, two hours into polling, St. John's City West recorded a steady stream of voters at its polling stations. St. John's City East, however, saw comparatively less movement nearly three hours after polls opened.

Polling agents on the ground expect voter turnout to increase in both constituencies around the lunchtime hours.
