Thousands of Caribbean students are sitting the May-June Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) exams, with regional education officials urging candidates to remain focused and confident as the high-stakes testing period gets underway.

According to Antigua Observer, CXC Registrar and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Wayne Wesley issued a direct address to candidates, reassuring them that the Council remains firmly committed to supporting their success throughout the examination period.

Dr. Wesley's message comes as students across Antigua and Barbuda and the wider Caribbean region prepare to sit the exams, which serve as a critical milestone in the academic journey of thousands of young people each year.

The CXC examinations are widely regarded as one of the most significant regional assessments, with results often determining students' pathways to tertiary education and employment opportunities across the Caribbean.
