Campaign billboards began coming down across Antigua and Barbuda on Wednesday as polls in the April 30 general election entered their final 30 minutes, marking the close of weeks of intense electoral campaigning.

According to Antigua.news, workers were observed dismantling party signage at multiple locations across the country as voting neared its end. Polling stations were scheduled to close at 6:00 p.m., after which the count to determine the next government was set to begin.

The removal of billboards from roadsides and display points nationwide, including in Freemans Village, came as a visible signal that the campaign period had drawn to a close ahead of the vote count.
