A New Winthorpes man has been ordered by the High Court to pay his neighbour $20,000 in compensation after pleading guilty to a violent attack that shattered the victim's arm with a large piece of wood — nearly four years after the incident occurred.

According to Antigua Observer, Donneil Anthony, who was 37 years old at the time of the attack, appeared before the High Court and entered a guilty plea in connection with the assault.

The case highlights the lengthy road to justice for the victim, who suffered a broken arm in the violent confrontation with his neighbour. The court's compensation order represents a significant financial penalty for Anthony as he is held accountable for the harm caused.
