Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party candidate Lamin Newton launched a sharp attack on opposition leader Jamale Pringle's parliamentary record during a campaign blitz in All Saints East and St. Luke, while pledging land distribution and road improvements to constituents. According to Antigua News Room, Newton accused Pringle of failing the constituency across two terms in office.

"We gave Jamal Pringle two terms and he has done absolutely nothing," Newton told supporters. "And have the audacity to come and ask you for a third one. For what?"

Newton urged voters to back the ABLP slate, framing the upcoming April 30 election as a decisive moment for the constituency. "When we win, you all win," he said.

Central to Newton's pitch was a promise to make land available to residents. He said 50 acres had already been identified for distribution. "We have made 50 acres of land available for you, the people of Olsen… you should benefit from owning your own piece of land," he said.

Newton also outlined infrastructure plans, committing to road paving works across several communities. "You have given your commitment that we will continue to pitch all the roads here in Arsene, in Switzerland, in Paris, in John Hughes, and in Old Road," he said.

He further criticised Pringle's effectiveness as a representative at the national level, alleging the opposition leader had failed to advocate for constituents in formal channels. "Jamal has never even written a letter to the Cabinet on your behalf," Newton said.

Newton closed his address by calling on voters to turn out on April 30, describing the election as a chance to "make it right."
