According to Antigua.news, the accident occurred as thousands of supporters participated in the island-wide motorcade, a major show of force for the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party ahead of the April 30 general election.
Bystanders at the scene responded quickly, surrounding the injured man and providing assistance until he was transported from the scene to hospital.
