The Medical Benefits Scheme (MBS) has launched its 'Sneakers on the Move 2026' wellness campaign, aimed at encouraging physical activity, supporting mental wellness, and promoting healthy coping habits among residents of Antigua and Barbuda.

According to Antigua News Room, the campaign features a series of structured activities spanning several weeks. The Move for Mental Wellness School Tour is scheduled to run from 21 to 28 April and again on 11 May, bringing the campaign's message directly to students and school staff across the country.

Additional events include Wear Your Sneakers Week, set for 5 to 8 May, and the Sweat to the Beat Street Jam on 7 May — a public event designed to engage the wider community in an active and visible way.

MBS stated that the campaign is intended to reach students, staff, and the broader public through practical, participatory initiatives that support healthier lifestyles and overall well-being.
