A 26-year-old Greenbay Hill man has been remanded into custody after pleading guilty to possession of an illegal firearm, according to Antigua Observer. Police had discovered a Mossberg 12-gauge shotgun hidden beneath his bed.
Ahjahnae Nicholas appeared before Chief Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel on Tuesday, where he entered his guilty plea. The court subsequently remanded him into custody.
A co-accused in the matter, 20-year-old Kayshia Riley, also faces a charge in connection with the case. As reported by Antigua Observer, the charge against Riley was addressed separately during the proceedings.
