United Progressive Party (UPP) candidate Kelvin "Shugy" Simon has reaffirmed his commitment to advocating for residents of St Mary's South, even as he acknowledges operating with limited resources.

According to Antigua Observer, Simon made the remarks during a recent appearance on state media, where he outlined his ongoing efforts to highlight and address issues affecting the constituency.

"The real question is, should the people of St Mary's South," Simon said, raising what he framed as a fundamental question about representation and the obligation owed to constituents regardless of available means.

Simon stated that his advocacy work has remained focused on bringing the concerns of St Mary's South residents to the forefront, despite the financial and logistical challenges that come with limited campaign and operational resources.

The UPP candidate's remarks signal a determination to remain an active and vocal representative for the constituency, positioning himself as a champion for the community even under difficult circumstances.
