Police Commissioner Everton Jeffers has confirmed that the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda is fully prepared for the upcoming April 30 general election.
According to Antigua Observer, Jeffers stated that systems are already in place and officers stand ready to carry out their duties on election day. He noted that the force's accumulated experience continues to guide its operational planning.
"My simple answer to that question is yes," Jeffers was quoted as saying, expressing confidence in the force's readiness ahead of the island-wide vote.
The Commissioner's assurances come as the nation prepares for what will be a significant electoral event, with law enforcement playing a critical role in maintaining order and ensuring the process proceeds smoothly and safely.
