Police are investigating a shooting incident that left a man hospitalised following an attack in the Grays Farm area late Sunday night.

Officers from the Grays Farm Police Station responded to reports of a shooting along #3 George Street, Green Bay, at approximately 10:35 p.m. on April 19.

A male resident of Golden Grove was transported to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre, where he is receiving treatment for a gunshot wound to his lower back. His condition is described as stable but serious.

The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda's Office of Strategic Communications confirmed that investigations into the matter are ongoing.
