The Ministry of Works has advised the public that major infrastructure rehabilitation works on All Saints Road will resume in the stretch between FADI Building Supplies and Fresh and Eazy Supermarket.
A traffic detour will be in effect from 7:00 pm on Monday, April 20th, 2026, until 7:00 am the following morning.
Motorists travelling out of town should take a left turn on American Road before the Townhouse Megastore junction traffic light and proceed along the route indicated on posted signage. Those travelling into town should take a right turn just after the John I. Martin Racetrack and follow the designated route.
Drivers should note that certain sections of the detour are one-way traffic zones, as marked on the map. Signage along the route will guide commuters travelling in either direction.
Local access will be provided to residents in the vicinity of the work site. Flag persons will be on duty, and motorists are strongly encouraged to follow all instructions, as heavy-duty equipment will be operating near the works.
All businesses in the area will remain open during the works.
The rehabilitation is part of the broader All Saints Road Project being carried out by the Government of Antigua and Barbuda. Stakeholders are asked to adjust their travel plans accordingly and allow for possible delays.
