The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda has issued a traffic advisory warning motorists of significant disruptions along several major roadways as Operation Daybreak continues, according to Antigua News Room.
Traffic interruptions are expected along Sir Sydney Walling Highway, between the Seaview Farm Junction and the Mount Joy Roundabout, and along Old Parham Road, between Pigotts and Parham.
The operation is scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m. Motorists will be diverted through Seaview Farm and Freemans Village during the course of the operation.
Police are urging members of the public to plan their journeys in advance, anticipate delays, and comply with directions from officers on duty.
Authorities have also expressed appreciation for the public's cooperation, noting that the traffic management measures are intended to ensure a safe and orderly flow of traffic throughout the operation.
