The Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) Taskforce and the Commonwealth Secretariat convened a joint meeting on Tuesday to advance preparations for the landmark November summit, set to be hosted in Antigua and Barbuda.

According to Antigua Observer, High Commissioner Karen-Mae Hill chaired the session, which centred on upcoming technical inspections and venue readiness ahead of the high-profile international gathering.

Representatives from the Commonwealth Secretariat are expected to play a key role in the next phase of preparations, as organisers work to ensure all logistical requirements are met before world leaders arrive on island.
