Two National Youth Ambassadors representing Antigua and Barbuda delivered critical interventions on the second day of the 2026 Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) Youth Forum at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
According to Antigua Observer, the forum runs from April 14 to 16, and the interventions were made by Amelia Williams and Kristine Louisa during the Caribbean Regional Breakout Session.
The two ambassadors used the platform to appeal for more sustainable measures, contributing Antigua and Barbuda's voice to regional and global discussions taking place at the high-level UN gathering.
The Caribbean Regional Breakout Session, in which Williams and Louisa participated, was moderated as part of the broader forum proceedings, bringing together young leaders from across the region to engage with pressing economic and social issues.
