Antigua and Barbuda will have representation at the Miss St. Maarten Carnival Caribbean Queen Pageant 2026, scheduled for Wednesday, April 15, at the St. Maarten Carnival Village.

According to Antigua News Room, delegate Kia Kirwan will carry the nation's banner at the regional competition, which is set to begin at 8 p.m. under the theme "Queens of Sun & Sail."

The pageant, presented by the St. Maarten Carnival Development Foundation, will bring together contestants from across the Caribbean in a celebration of beauty, culture, and regional pride. Promotional material for the event lists expected delegates from Anguilla, St. Lucia, St. Maarten, St. Eustatius, Nevis, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Antigua and Barbuda, Trinidad and Tobago, and Barbados.

Organizers describe the pageant as "a celebration of women from all corners of the Caribbean, showcasing the diversity and excellence that defines a modern queen."

Admission to the event is priced at US$25, with the competition taking place at the St. Maarten Carnival Village.
