The Ministry of Works has advised the public that major infrastructure rehabilitation works will resume along All Saints Road (ASR), spanning the stretch between Townhouse Megastore and FADI Building Supplies.
Two road blockages will be in effect during the works. The first is at the All Saints Road and Bendals junction, at the stoplight by Townhouse Megastore, affecting westbound to eastbound traffic. The second is on the approach to the immediate right-hand turn entering Briggins, just after John I Martin Racetrack, affecting eastbound to westbound traffic.
To accommodate the works, a detour will be implemented in the vicinity of Briggins, beginning at the immediate right turn after John I Martin Racetrack for eastbound to westbound traffic. The detour takes effect from 6:30 pm on Friday, 10th April 2026 and will remain in place until 7:00 am the following morning.
Flag persons will be stationed at the site, and motorists are urged to follow all instructions carefully. Heavy-duty equipment will be operating in the area, and caution is essential.
All businesses in the area will remain open throughout the works. The rehabilitation is part of the broader All Saints Road Project being undertaken by the Government of Antigua and Barbuda.
Stakeholders and commuters are asked to adjust their travel plans accordingly and allow for possible delays. Members of the public with queries may contact the Project Implementation Management Unit at 562-9173.
