United Progressive Party leader Jamale Pringle has publicly denied having a close personal relationship with Prime Minister Gaston Browne, pushing back against reports circulating within party circles and on social media.
According to Antigua.news, Pringle addressed the matter directly at a campaign rally on Tuesday night, using the occasion to define what friendship means to him — and making clear that the Prime Minister does not meet that standard.
"I have no friend called Gaston Browne," Pringle declared, drawing a firm line between himself and the ruling party leader amid speculation about the nature of their relationship.
