The Antigua and Barbuda Electoral Commission (ABEC) has announced that the distribution of replacement voter identification cards has surpassed the halfway mark, as the nation counts down to its April 30 general elections.

According to Antigua.news, the latest cumulative report, covering data up to April 8, 2026, shows that 26,400 voter ID cards have been processed across all 17 constituencies — representing approximately 50 to 55 percent of the total distribution effort.

The figures indicate that renewal activity is proceeding at a vigorous pace as election day approaches, with ABEC working to ensure eligible voters are equipped with valid identification ahead of the polls.
