A mother is making an urgent appeal for public assistance in locating her missing teenage son, who has twice fled medical care within days of being admitted to hospital.
According to Antigua News Room, Tejornie Mannix was hospitalised last week after displaying sudden behavioural changes. He fled shortly after his initial admission, but was later located and returned by police. He was readmitted, only to flee again on Thursday and has not been seen since.
His mother, Teneshia Warren, described the situation as deeply concerning, saying her son appeared disoriented and was not behaving like himself. She also raised alarm over visible marks on his body, further heightening fears for his safety while he remains at large and alone.
Warren is urging members of the public to remain calm if they encounter her son, cautioning that he may react unpredictably given his current condition. She is asking that no one attempt to pursue or confront him.
Anyone who spots Mannix is asked to contact his mother directly at 725-0118 or report the sighting to the nearest police station.
