Prime Minister Gaston Browne has levelled sharp criticism at the opposition United Progressive Party, accusing it of projecting a false sense of unity as the country moves closer to a general election.

According to Antigua News Room, Browne made the remarks during an appearance on Pointe FM's Browne and Browne Show, where he claimed the UPP is deeply divided internally despite presenting a unified front to the public.

"They are totally disunited but pretending as though they have a team," Browne said.

The Prime Minister further alleged that the opposition lacks meaningful coordination, with individual members operating independently rather than functioning as a cohesive political unit.
