The Antigua and Barbuda Festivals Commission (ABFC) has announced the postponement of the official launch of Antigua Carnival 2026, which had been scheduled for April 11. According to Antigua Observer, the delay stems from conflicts involving external service providers required for the event.
ABFC Chairperson Ambassador Elizabeth Makhoul told Antigua Observer that the scheduling conflicts cited in an official release specifically involve external partners needed for the launch. The Commission has placed the blame squarely on its service providers for the postponement.
No revised date for the launch has been publicly announced at this time.
