The Ministry of Works has advised the public that major infrastructure rehabilitation works on All Saints Road (ASR) will resume between Townhouse Megastore and FADI Building Supplies.
Two road blockages will be in effect during the works. The first affects the westbound-to-eastbound lane at the All Saints Road and Bendals junction, near the stoplight at Townhouse Megastore. The second affects the eastbound-to-westbound lane approaching the immediate right-hand turn into Briggins, just after the John I Martin Racetrack.
To accommodate the works, a detour will be implemented in the Briggins area, beginning at the immediate right turn after John I Martin Racetrack for eastbound-to-westbound traffic. The detour takes effect from 7 pm on Thursday, 2nd April 2026, and will remain in place until 7 am the following morning.
Flag persons will be deployed at the site, and motorists are urged to follow all instructions carefully. Heavy-duty equipment will be operating in the area, and caution is essential.
All businesses in the vicinity will remain open throughout the works.
The rehabilitation forms part of the broader All Saints Road Project being carried out by the Government of Antigua and Barbuda. Stakeholders are advised to adjust their travel plans to account for potential delays.
