UPP candidate for St. John's Rural South, Emanuel Peters, says he personally intervened to carry out road grading works in Gray's Hill and Nut Grove — without any assistance from government agencies, according to Antigua News Room.
In a statement, Peters said the initiative was driven by the need to improve daily conditions for residents in both communities, with easier access being the primary outcome of the work.
He maintained that neither the Public Works Division nor any other government body provided support, stating that he and his team moved forward independently to address the deteriorating road conditions.
Peters framed the effort as part of his broader commitment to the constituency, saying his focus remains on delivering tangible results for residents rather than waiting on official channels.
