Marlon Carr has been found guilty of three counts of aggravated robbery in connection with a 2022 home invasion at the exclusive Mill Reef Club. He has been remanded in custody ahead of sentencing, scheduled for April 30.

According to Antigua News Room, Justice Ann Marie Smith delivered the verdict following a trial conducted without a jury. The court heard how three victims — all over the age of 70 — were bound with duct tape while assailants forced one of them to open a safe, from which cash, jewellery, an iPad and other items were stolen.

Prosecutors noted that the attackers appeared to have prior knowledge of the property, including the precise location of the safe, suggesting the intrusion was premeditated.

Carr was originally charged alongside two other individuals. Co-accused Rickardo Bussawan pleaded guilty in 2024 and was sentenced to eight years and six months in prison. Charges against the third defendant, Delon Wills, were subsequently dropped.
