Prime Minister Gaston Browne is calling on eligible voters to validate their identification cards without delay, cautioning that procrastination could leave some electors unable to cast ballots in the upcoming general election.
According to Antigua News Room, Browne issued the warning during his weekly radio programme, stressing that individuals who wait until the final days risk missing the deadline and facing disenfranchisement as a result.
The Prime Minister urged voters to complete the validation process within the next two weeks to ensure they are properly registered and fully eligible to participate when election day arrives.
The appeal comes as preparations gather pace ahead of the anticipated general election, with authorities pressing forward with efforts to update and verify the national voters' list.
