Prime Minister Gaston Browne has announced the establishment of a dedicated hotline to assist public sector workers and other beneficiaries still awaiting retroactive payments from the government.
According to Antigua News Room, Browne revealed the initiative during his weekly Browne and Browne radio programme, describing the measure as a targeted effort to identify and resolve outstanding cases more efficiently.
"We have established a hotline to deal with those who have not yet received their retroactive payments," Browne stated.
The hotline forms part of a broader government push to clear outstanding financial obligations owed to eligible individuals. Browne indicated that authorities are actively working to ensure all qualifying recipients receive what they are owed.
The announcement comes amid ongoing delays affecting public sector workers and other beneficiaries, with the administration signalling its commitment to bringing those outstanding cases to resolution.
