A 46-year-old woman has died following a vehicular crash in the Freetown area on Friday evening, according to Antigua.news.
The woman was driving a rental vehicle when the incident occurred shortly after 7 p.m. Initial reports suggest she may have lost consciousness moments before the vehicle struck a fence.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene but were unable to save her. She was pronounced dead shortly after.
Authorities are continuing investigations into the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash.
