The Democratic National Alliance (DNA) will not contest the upcoming general elections, the party confirmed this week, following a unanimous decision by its Management Committee.

The party announced its withdrawal in a press release, marking its absence from the ballot in the snap poll. The DNA's Management Committee reached the decision collectively, signalling a significant step back from electoral participation for the political organisation.

Alongside its withdrawal, the DNA issued a call for the elections to be conducted in a free and fair manner — a message directed at the broader electoral process as Antigua and Barbuda prepares to head to the polls.
