Newly installed Member of Parliament Randy Baltimore has been elected Deputy Speaker of the House of Assembly, according to Antigua News Room.
The election followed Baltimore's swearing-in earlier the same day. Prime Minister Gaston Browne nominated Baltimore for the post, and the opposition did not put forward a competing nominee.
The position had become vacant following the resignation of Sir Robin Yearwood, who had served as Deputy Speaker since 2023.
