ST. JOHN'S, Antigua — Police are calling on residents of the Villa community to come forward with information following the fatal shooting of two teenagers, according to Antigua News Room.
Police Public Relations Officer Frankie Thomas made a direct appeal to the public, urging anyone with knowledge of the incident to assist investigators. Thomas warned that silence shields those responsible and denies justice to the victims and their families.
The victims have been identified as 17-year-old Brianna Clark and Omari Lewis, both of whom were shot and killed in an incident that has deeply shaken the community and intensified concerns over gun violence in Antigua.
As reported by Antigua News Room, the double killing brings the country's total homicide count for the year to eight.
