An Old Road resident has been charged with three cannabis-related offences following the alleged discovery of nearly 400 plants in Crabbe Hill, according to Antigua Observer.

Shawn Richards appeared before Chief Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel on Tuesday, where he faced charges of cultivating, possessing, and being concerned with supplying 377 cannabis plants. Richards was represented in court by attorney Damien Benjamin.

As reported by Antigua Observer, the 377 plants carry a combined street value that underscores the scale of the alleged operation. The charges follow what authorities describe as a significant find in the Crabbe Hill area.
