Police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a 29-year-old man from Mack Pond, All Saints, who died Wednesday afternoon following an altercation near the All Saints traffic lights.

According to Antigua.news, the incident occurred at approximately 5:18 p.m. when the victim became involved in an altercation with another male. The assailant stabbed the man to the back of the neck with a sharp object.

Emergency Medical Services transported the victim to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre, where he was pronounced dead at approximately 5:58 p.m.

Authorities have not yet released the identity of the deceased. Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the stabbing remain ongoing.

Police are appealing to members of the public who may have witnessed the incident or who possess relevant information to come forward.
