ST. JOHN'S, Antigua — A three-day bulk waste collection exercise is scheduled for St. John's Rural East from March 27 to 29, according to Antigua News Room. Residents are being urged to prepare large household items ahead of their assigned pickup days.
The initiative is being led by area representative Maria Browne, with the stated aim of improving sanitation and safety across several communities through the removal of bulk household waste.
Collection begins on March 27, covering Clare Hall, Gambles, Wireless Road, and Cassada Gardens. On March 28, teams will move through St. Johnston's Village, Skerritts Pasture, Sutherlands, Cassada Gardens #2, and Carnival Gardens. Pickups are scheduled to continue in surrounding areas on March 29.
Residents are encouraged to have their bulk waste ready before their designated collection day. A contact number has been made available for those with questions regarding the exercise.
