United Progressive Party (UPP) candidate Emanuel Peters has conducted a community outreach initiative in Rural South, distributing 318 bowls of bullfoot soup to local residents. According to Antigua News Room, Peters highlighted the effort on social media, describing it as part of ongoing work to strengthen community ties and support vulnerable households.

The initiative extended beyond Rural South through a collaboration with Senator Johnathan Joseph, enabling residents in a neighbouring constituency to also benefit from the outreach.

Peters framed the effort as reflective of a broader commitment to service, stating that he remains focused on "showing up" for constituents and maintaining consistent engagement with the community.

The outreach comes as political activity intensifies ahead of an anticipated general election, with candidates from both major parties increasing their visibility and community-based initiatives across constituencies.

Rural South is expected to be among the closely watched seats as parties work to consolidate support at the constituency level.
