Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre has welcomed back Dr. Adrianna Cole Baez as a Senior Registrar and cardiologist following the completion of her specialist training in Cuba, according to Antigua News Room.
Dr. Cole Baez previously served as a house officer at the institution before pursuing advanced studies in cardiology. Her return bolsters the medical centre's capacity to deliver specialised cardiac care to patients across Antigua and Barbuda.
She is currently seeing patients through the outpatient clinic on a referral basis.
Hospital officials welcomed her appointment, stating that it reflects the institution's ongoing commitment to expanding specialist services and raising the standard of patient care nationwide.
