The Antigua and Barbuda Electoral Commission (ABEC) remains committed to modernising the country's electoral process, with its chairman confirming that plans to implement electronic voting have not been shelved.
According to Antigua Observer, Ambassador Arthur Thomas, Chairman of ABEC, has affirmed that the commission continues to pursue its objective of exploring and eventually introducing electronic voting across the twin-island nation.
The declaration signals that the electoral body views technological reform as a long-term priority, even as the full details of implementation remain under consideration.
