Police have officially identified the man killed in an alleged stabbing at Lion's Estate in New Field as 38-year-old Daniel Lewis of Glanvilles, according to Antigua.news.

The incident is reported to have occurred during the early morning hours of Monday, March 16, 2026.

Authorities say Lewis entered the residence of a local New Field area resident, which triggered a confrontation. During the altercation, Lewis sustained a wound to the lower part of his body.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but Lewis was pronounced dead at approximately 8:38 a.m.

Police investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident remain ongoing.

The Police Administration has extended condolences to the family and friends of Daniel Lewis.
