Polling stations across the St. Philip's North constituency opened at 6:00 AM this morning as voters choose a successor to Sir Robin Yearwood, who held the seat for 50 consecutive years before resigning last month. According to Antigua.news, polls opened at Nelvie Gore Primary School in Willikies among other locations across the constituency.

The by-election pits Antigua Barbuda Labour Party candidate Randy Baltimore against United Progressive Party challenger Alex Browne. Residents of Willikies, Glanvilles, Seatons, and Newfield have until 6:00 PM to cast their ballots.

The ABLP has held the seat without interruption since 1976. However, as reported by Antigua.news, the opposition UPP is mounting its most serious challenge in decades, arguing that the constituency has been neglected throughout Yearwood's long tenure.

Polls close at 6:00 PM.
