A man in his thirties has died following an alleged confrontation with his mother-in-law at a residence in the Newfield community, according to Antigua News Room.
Preliminary reports indicate the incident occurred during an altercation inside the home. The woman told investigators that the man, who is married to her daughter, entered the residence and attempted to sexually assault her.
The confrontation escalated, and the man sustained fatal injuries. Although the incident began inside the home, he was subsequently found in nearby bushes.
