A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to help cover mounting medical expenses for Christopher Howell, known locally as Yung Luiy, who remains in critical condition at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre. According to Antigua News Room, Howell's mother, Claudette Armstrong, organised the online fundraiser, setting a goal of $5,000 to assist with the cost of her son's ongoing treatment.

Armstrong stated that Howell collapsed after suffering kidney failure alongside a liver condition. He is currently in a coma and receiving dialysis and life support in the hospital's intensive care unit.

In an appeal posted to the fundraising page, Armstrong urged the public to rally behind her family. "I'm reaching out with a heavy heart. My son Christopher Howell is fighting for his life in intensive care at Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre," she wrote, adding that the family would welcome "anything you can offer, blood, a share, or help with expenses."

Earlier appeals were also made for blood donations on Howell's behalf, with members of the public asked to visit the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre blood bank directly.

Those wishing to contribute financially, donate blood, or obtain further information may contact Armstrong by phone at 1-268-722-4230 or via WhatsApp at 1-268-773-4487.
