Antiguan makeup artist and entrepreneur Charity Henry has been crowned Miss International Elegant Mothers 2026, bringing international recognition to Antigua and Barbuda. According to Antigua.news, Henry claimed the title at the Miss International Elegant Mothers Pageant held in St. Maarten/Saint Martin on Sunday, competing against contestants from several countries.

A proud mother of two daughters, Henry's victory represents more than a decade of dedication to her craft, her community, and her pursuit of excellence on regional and international stages.

Born and raised in Antigua, Henry first demonstrated her leadership potential at All Saints Secondary School, where she served as Head Girl. Her career in the beauty industry began remarkably early — at just 13 years old — and has since grown into a well-established brand known across the Caribbean. Through her business, Makeup by Charity H, she has built a strong regional reputation, particularly for her vibrant carnival makeup artistry. She regularly travels to regional carnivals, where she transforms clients with her signature style.

Her accomplishments in pageantry stretch back nearly a decade. In 2017, she won the Miss Teenage Pageant while representing All Saints Secondary School. She later claimed the Miss Labour Queen 2022 title, representing Gaston Browne and the St. John's City West constituency.

Henry has also earned regional recognition beyond the pageant stage. She was among three Antiguan women to win awards at the Caribbean Posh Icon Women Awards, where she took home the Artistry in Beauty Award for her work through Makeup by Charity H.

Her latest crown further cements her standing as one of Antigua and Barbuda's most accomplished young women, and reflects the growing presence of Antiguan women making meaningful strides on regional and international platforms.
