Makeup artist and entrepreneur Charity Henry has brought international recognition to Antigua and Barbuda after winning the BTA 8th Annual Miss International Elegant Mothers Pageant 2026. The regional competition was held in St. Maarten/St. Martin on Sunday.
According to Antigua News Room, Henry, a mother of two daughters, competed against contestants from several countries before capturing the crown — marking a proud moment for the twin-island nation on the regional stage.
Born and raised in Antigua, Henry first distinguished herself as Head Girl at All Saints Secondary School before forging a career in the beauty industry. She entered the field at just 13 years old and has since established herself as a respected makeup artist and entrepreneur.
Her path to the international stage was built on a foundation of local pageantry success. Henry previously won Miss Teenage 2017, representing All Saints Secondary School, and Miss Labour Queen 2022, representing Prime Minister Gaston Browne and the St. John's City West constituency.
