Four community health centres across Antigua will begin offering extended operating hours starting April 1, 2026, in a move designed to improve public access to primary healthcare services. According to Antigua Observer, Health Minister Molwyn Joseph made the announcement, confirming the expansion of services at several key facilities.
The centres set to benefit from the new schedule are the Browne's Avenue, Grays Farm, and Clare Hall health centres, as well as the Villa Polyclinic. All four facilities will operate daily under the extended hours arrangement.
The initiative reflects the government's efforts to make primary healthcare more accessible to residents across the island, reducing barriers that may prevent patients from seeking timely medical attention.
