The Antigua and Barbuda Red Cross is calling on the public to donate blood for local musician Christopher Howell, popularly known as Yung Luiy, who is in urgent need of a transfusion.
According to Antigua News Room, the organisation issued a public appeal via social media, stating that Howell can receive any blood type. Donors are being directed to the blood bank at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre.
Donations are being accepted between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. today. The Red Cross urged residents to share the appeal widely to reach as many potential donors as possible and improve the chances of securing the required blood supply.
