The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda has launched a formal homicide investigation following the identification of a man whose body was discovered at the former Ottos Primary School compound, according to Antigua Observer.
During a press briefing on Tuesday, Superintendent Lisbon Michael, head of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID), formally identified the deceased, as reported by Antigua Observer.
Authorities have not released further details regarding the circumstances surrounding the man's death, though the opening of a homicide investigation signals that police are treating the case as suspicious.
