A father is demanding urgent action to address violence in schools after his 14-year-old son was stabbed on the premises of a local secondary school on Monday in an incident he says could easily have turned fatal.

According to Antigua Observer, the 42-year-old man, who requested anonymity, spoke out about the attack, describing the stabbing as a deeply alarming incident that exposed serious gaps in student safety at the school.

The father told Antigua Observer that the incident took place on school grounds and that the severity of the assault left him shaken, warning that the outcome could have been far worse for his son.

He is now calling on authorities to implement increased safety measures at secondary schools across the country to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
