The Chairman of the Barbuda Council has characterised the unauthorised removal of a vessel belonging to the Codrington Lagoon National Park as theft, according to Antigua Observer.

The boat was taken from its designated location and transported to a private property without the knowledge or approval of any of the organisations responsible for managing the national park, as reported by Antigua Observer.

The Barbuda Council Chairman has taken a firm stance on the matter, treating the incident as a criminal act given that none of the relevant managing bodies sanctioned the vessel's removal or relocation.
