The United States military has confirmed it killed six men in a strike targeting an alleged drug-smuggling vessel in the Eastern Pacific Ocean, the latest operation in an ongoing campaign against maritime traffickers.

According to Antigua News Room, the attack took place on Sunday and brought the total death toll to at least 157 people since early September, when President Donald Trump's administration began targeting individuals it designates as drug traffickers.

The strike is part of a broader military campaign authorised under the Trump administration, which has escalated the use of force against suspected narcotics operations in international waters.
