Police Commissioner Everton Jeffers has commended the Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force (ABDF) for its role in a nighttime medical evacuation from Barbuda, citing the operation as a testament to the strength of cooperation between the nation's security agencies.

According to Antigua News Room, Commissioner Jeffers highlighted the recent collaboration between the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda and the ABDF, pointing to the emergency evacuation as a concrete example of the two institutions working effectively together.

The Police Commissioner also drew attention to road enforcement efforts in Barbuda as part of his broader remarks on inter-agency operations in the sister island.

The evacuation, conducted under the cover of night, underscored the critical importance of coordinated emergency response capabilities between Antigua and Barbuda's security services, particularly given Barbuda's geographic separation from the mainland.
